You want a custom song the whole room can sing, with the lyrics on screen? Depending on the service, karaoke is included, sold as an extra, or not offered at all. At Tubissime, full-screen karaoke is included from The Gold Record (€8), and the MP4 karaoke video with a slideshow of your photos is included in The Platinum (€13). At several French services, these are paid extras, from €14.90 to €20 each.
This article is written by Tubissime, so we are not neutral. Competitor prices come from their public pages, read on 13 October 2026. We did not order from them, and prices may have changed since. Where another service does better, or does something we don't, we say so.
Why karaoke changes a gift song
A custom song people listen to sitting down is three minutes of polite emotion. The same song with the lyrics on screen is the chorus sung by twenty people the second time round, including the uncle who never sings. The catch is simple: nobody knows the words of a song written yesterday. Karaoke fixes exactly that.
There are two formats. A karaoke page, opened in a browser on the TV or a laptop, where the lyrics appear in time. And a video (an MP4 file) that plays anywhere, offline, and can be sent to the family group chat. Services don't always sell the same format under the same word, so check which one you are buying.

The karaoke video is included from Signature, or added to Essentiel for €14.90. The photo clip is included in Prestige, or sold as a €19.90 extra. Stated delivery: 48 hours, 24 hours with Prestige. More in our Studio Chanson comparison.
Mélodille
Mélodille offers Essentiel at €24.90, Express at €39.90 and Premium at €69.90. The karaoke version is included from Express; an instrumental-only version is a €7 extra. We found no video with photos: its animated lyrics video does not mention photos. Details in our Mélodille comparison.
Tailor Tune and La Ritournelle
Tailor Tune sells a song at €59.90, then extras à la carte: karaoke video €20, photo video €19.90. Stated delivery: 48 hours after the lyrics are approved. La Ritournelle has a single price of €7.99 with no karaoke; it is in beta, with a waiting list.
Tubissime
Three packages, delivered in a few minutes. The Single (€5): two full tracks of about 2 min 30, a gift page and the MP3s, no karaoke. The Gold Record (€8) adds synchronised full-screen karaoke, where the lyrics light up word by word, illustrated cover art and tracks of about 3 min 30. The Platinum (€13) adds two styles, a slideshow of up to 10 photos as polaroids during the karaoke, the MP4 karaoke video with those photos sent by email, one photo turned into a "party star" portrait, and tracks of about 5 minutes. Everything is on the pricing page.
The real price of a song with karaoke
The headline price is not the whole story: you have to add the song and the extra. Here is the cheapest way, at each service, to get a song with karaoke. The totals are additions we made from the prices shown on 13 October 2026.
| Service | What you need to buy | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Tubissime | The Gold Record | €8 |
| Mélodille | Express package | €39.90 |
| Studio Chanson | Essentiel + karaoke video extra | €63.90 (€49 + €14.90) |
| Tailor Tune | Song + karaoke video extra | €79.90 (€59.90 + €20) |
| La Ritournelle | Not offered | - |
The Gold Record, karaoke included, costs less than Mélodille's Express (€39.90). To judge the result before the numbers, listen to a full Gold Record song with its karaoke, no account or payment needed. For prices beyond karaoke, read how much a custom song costs.
What about a karaoke video with your photos?
At Studio Chanson, a song with the karaoke video and the photo clip comes to €83.80 starting from Essentiel (€49 + €14.90 + €19.90), or €119 with Prestige. At Tailor Tune, the song with both video extras comes to €99.80 (€59.90 + €20 + €19.90). Those totals are our additions. At Tubissime, The Platinum (€13) puts both in one file: the MP4 karaoke video, lyrics and photos burned into the picture, prepared separately and emailed as soon as it is ready. It plays on any phone, can be projected offline, and keeps. See The Platinum demo.
What others do that we don't
- A firm guarantee: Studio Chanson promises "satisfied or refunded within 30 days". At Tubissime, a redo or a refund may be granted, with no firm guarantee.
- Release on streaming platforms: Studio Chanson offers it with Prestige. Tubissime does not publish songs.
- Physical products: Tailor Tune sells them. Tubissime only delivers digital files.
- More languages: Mélodille offers 8, including Italian, Japanese and Korean. Tubissime offers 7: French, English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Turkish and Russian.
What Tubissime does differently: the lyrics are written for free, and you read and correct them yourself before paying, name included. The song then arrives in a few minutes.
Karaoke page or MP4 video: which one?
The Gold Record's karaoke page is enough for a party with a screen and a connection: open the gift page link on the TV or laptop and everyone sings. In landscape, The Platinum's photos scroll as polaroids on both sides of the lyrics; on a phone held upright, during the sung parts, they pass one at a time, as a polaroid, in a strip at the bottom of the screen, below the lyrics. During the instrumental breaks, on every screen, the slideshow takes centre stage with a large polaroid; on a phone, it appears large in the middle of the screen. The Platinum's MP4 video is for when you don't control the screen (a hired hall, a projector with no internet), when you want to send it to people who weren't there, or keep it as a memento.
