What the Studio lets you do

Everything below is included as soon as you create your account, with nothing to install.

Assistant tab of the Tubissime Studio: the chat thread with Mélodie, her suggested replies and, below, the card showing the song's style

Mélodie, an assistant who writes with you

She asks about the person, the story and the style, then writes the lyrics and suggests a structure. Talk to her in plain English, "change verse 2", "add a bridge", and she reworks that section, not the whole song.

Studio editor: a song's six collapsed sections (intro, verse, chorus, verse, bridge, chorus), each with its length, plus the total length

Section by section

Verses, choruses, bridge, solo: each section has its own name, lyrics, musical directions and length, from 3 to 120 seconds. Duplicate a chorus, insert a bridge, drop a verse: the total length updates as you go.

Chorus section open in the Studio editor: lyrics that repeat the name, the syllable counter just below, the list of voices with "duet" selected and the section's length

One voice per section

Male, female or duet, chosen for each section: one verse that tells the story, one that answers back, the last chorus sung by two.

Studio editor: a song's sections stacked up, with the chorus collapsed and one section open showing its lyrics, syllable counter, voice and length in seconds

Retouch a single section

A verse doesn't land once it's sung? Redo that verse and nothing else. The same voice is kept across the rest of the song, and the original version stays available if you prefer it.

Studio player: a finished song split into clickable chapters, one per section, with the third highlighted

A player with chapters

Every section becomes a clickable marker: jump straight to the chorus or the bridge, and check that the structure works by ear, not just on paper.

Your style library

Once you find a sound, keep it: up to 50 personal styles, and Riff, in the Styles tab, describes the sound of any reference you give him. Your next song picks up from there.

Credits, plainly explained

The Studio doesn't work with a fixed-price plan: you spend credits as you create. Here's what to know before you start.

Questions about the Studio

Is the Studio free?

Signing up is free and comes with 30 credits: enough to write lyrics with Mélodie and try out the tools. Composing the music takes credits, bought in packs. The cost of each composition is shown before it is charged.

Do I need to be a writer or know about music?

No. You tell the story, Mélodie handles the rhymes and suggests a structure. You can also write your own lyrics, or rewrite part of hers: the music is then composed on your words.

How many credits does a song take?

Music is paid by length: 42 credits per minute. A 2 min 30 song takes a little over 100 credits. An album cover costs 51 credits.

What happens when I retouch a section?

Only that section is recomposed, with the same voice across the rest of the song, and the original version is kept. A retouch is charged on the full length of the song.

How long can a song be?

From 10 seconds to 5 minutes, with each section lasting 3 to 120 seconds. Mélodie suggests up to 3 minutes; Guided mode lets you go up to 5.

I just want to give someone a song: is the Studio for me?

Not necessarily. The gift plans do everything for you, at a fixed price and with no account: you tell your story, read the lyrics before paying, and the song is composed for you.
