Custom song services all look alike on their homepage: a lovely promise, a price, a button. The differences show up elsewhere, and they come down to seven questions.
1. Who writes and who sings
This is the real dividing line. Some services rely on a human songwriter who takes your story in hand. Others use a music AI driven by the service itself. Others still leave you alone in front of a generator. All three produce songs, but not the same work and not the same price.
2. Real delivery time, not the advertised one
Look for the standard delivery time, not the rush option on display. Then check what rush costs: when it doubles the price, the advertised timing is not the one you will get.
3. What you receive, exactly
An audio file is the bare minimum. The difference lies in what surrounds it: a page to share, synced karaoke, cover art, a good quality download. A gift gets handed over in front of people, and a song you cannot show loses half its effect.
